What is Viya?

“Up to” is a ceiling. Check the reward on the purchase you intend to make, and keep a points reward separate from a discount that reduces the amount you pay today.
How Viya points work
Viya’s published terms set redemption at 10 points for AED 1 and ordinary points expiry at 12 months. You need to present your QR code for scanning when paying. For illustration, a balance of 500 points represents AED 50 of redemption value under that published rate. It is value to use with a participant, rather than cash credited to your bank account. Check the balance and validity shown in your app before making plans around it.

Download Viya and complete your registration.
Find a participating location and check the offer, booking route and points conditions before visiting.
Present your Viya QR code at payment and say whether you want to earn or redeem points.
Check the recorded transaction and your remaining points balance in the app.
Our advice is to make that check part of paying the bill. A reward that was never recorded cannot help with the next purchase. Keep your receipt until the transaction appears correctly.
What does paid Viya Access add?
Viya Access is a separate leisure and lifestyle membership bought through the Viya app. Its FAQ distinguishes Gym passes, which cover gym access, from Solo passes, which include gym, pool and beach access. If you are considering a pass, start with the facilities you would actually visit. Check their location, opening hours, access conditions and your likely number of visits. Compare the full pass price with those planned visits rather than valuing every listed facility as if you will use it.
