Cobone UAE in 2026: Check the Booking Before You Buy the Voucher
Cobone UAE (2026): How Vouchers, Booking & Refunds Work
How Cobone vouchers work in the UAE: paying upfront, booking with the merchant, expiry, refunds as store credit and the checks to make before you buy.

The price looks great, so you buy the voucher and then call the restaurant. That is when you learn the Friday you wanted is full. With Cobone, the order of those two steps can matter as much as the discount.
Cobone sells prepaid vouchers from selected merchants in the UAE. An account is free and you pay upfront for each voucher, then book with the merchant. Dates are not guaranteed when you buy, so check availability before you pay, and read the refund terms.
What is Cobone?
Cobone sells discounted vouchers from selected merchants, covering dining, beauty and spa, activities, auto and travel. It says it has operated since 2010, and it mainly operates in the UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. An account is free, and there is no membership fee to join: you pay for the voucher you choose. Cobone FAQ
That makes it different from a card benefit or a paid membership. You pay Cobone upfront, online, then redeem at the venue. Your saving is locked in only if you actually get the slot you wanted and use the voucher before it expires.
Check availability before you pay
You cannot pick a date when you buy, and a slot is only yours once the booking is confirmed. Cobone’s own guidance is to check availability, then buy, then arrange the booking with the merchant. Some offers need advance booking and others allow walk-ins; the Conditions tab on the offer says which. Cobone FAQ
For illustration, a deal listed at AED 39 instead of AED 150 saves AED 111 only if you use it. If the only free dates are ones you cannot make and the voucher lapses, it has cost you AED 39 for nothing.
How to use a Cobone voucher in Dubai and the UAE
Pick the offer, read its Conditions tab, and see whether DiscGo shows a listing from your cards or memberships to compare it with.
Check availability for your date before paying, using the merchant’s details or Cobone’s reservation team.
Pay online, then download the voucher from the email or from My Account.
Confirm the booking with the merchant and show the voucher on arrival. Most accept it on a phone, but some ask for a printed copy.
The rules that change the result
Expiry: each voucher has its own expiry date, shown on the voucher.
Part use: unused value is not credited back. Vouchers are non-refundable unless the offer’s terms say otherwise.
Combining: a voucher cannot be used with other offers or specials unless it says so.
Location: each offer is valid only at the location listed.
Extra charges: the voucher covers only the items listed in the offer, so ask about anything else before booking.
Payment method affects refunds. Cobone says refunds on purchases paid with ADCB TouchPoints or Tabby come back as store credit, rather than to your card or Tabby account. Its FAQ also says payment must be completed in full at purchase, while a separate answer describes splitting a purchase into four interest-free payments with Tabby. Read the payment terms before you pay. Cobone FAQ
Our advice: compare the voucher price with what the venue charges directly and with any card offer you already hold. A voucher you pay for in advance has to beat a discount you could have had for free.
